WP Lead: ISCIII

The aim of this work package is to develop tool(s) to assess the comparability between regions within Europe, if feasible.

Initially, a review will be undertaken to review models which may be adopted for the project. Following this, work will include gathering a variety of information such as population, deprivation index, and type of region (industrial/agricultural/etc) about the regions within the partners’ countries. This may be complemented by the development and administration of questionnaire(s) among partner countries. The work package leader will use the collated information to assess the comparability of regions within different countries and develop/adopt/modify methods to carry out regional comparisons.
